Acone graduated from Washington State University with two degrees in Communication and Spanish and also graduated with her meteorology degree from Mississippi State University in 2017. Before joining KCPQ, she served at KOMO as a meteorologist and weather reporter.
She joined KOMO in December 2018 and resigned on December 2, 2021. Before joining KOMO, Acone was working as the morning and midday meteorologist for the ABC affiliate in Colorado Springs, KRDO, for more than four years. There, Acone covered the wide spectrum of wild weather in the Rocky Mountains, including hurricane-force winds, blizzards, fire weather, tornadoes, grapefruit-sized hail, and more.
