Jones serves as an analyst for Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and on Fox Sports, BeIN Sports, the Pac-12 Network, and as the host of the Totally Football Show: American Edition. He has a long and illustrious professional career, having played in three FIFA World Cups for the United States Men’s National Team (1994, 1998, 2002), spending 12 seasons with the LA Galaxy, Coventry City of the English Premier League, and becoming the first American to play in Brazil with Vasco d Gama. In 2011, he was inducted into the United States Soccer Hall of Fame.
In addition to his work with FOX Sports, Jones is the lead analyst for the Los Angeles Galaxy on Spectrum SportsNet and an analyst on the PAC 12 Network. Jones is a Southern California sports legend, serving as the LA Galaxy’s longest-serving member. From 1996 to 2010, LA’s “Original Cobi” spent 15 seasons with the Galaxy as both a player and coach, with his #13 becoming the only number retired in club history. He is a two-time MLS Cup winner (2002, 2005) and holds the LA Galaxy records for most appearances (306), goals (70), and assists (91), as well as being one of only three players in MLS history to have scored 60 or more goals and assisted on 80 or more goals.
