To pursue this goal, he went to Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida – it is known for helping students start careers with Disney.

Bromstad competed with 9 other designers and won – he earned a car and the opportunity to host his own HGTV show. He hosted “Color Splash” from the year 2007 to the year 2012.
