He later created the Netflix food documentary series “Chef’s Table”, which he sees as a follow-up to his sushi film. In the year 2015, Gelb made “A Faster Horse”, a documentary about the creation of the 2015 Ford Mustang, timed to celebrate the Mustang’s 50th anniversary. Gelb also worked with Brian McGinn and Jason Sterman to produce “Marvel’s 616”, a series exploring how Marvel Comics has influenced culture.
