Kate Snow Cancer/ Illness
Snow was diagnosed with a brain tumor in May 2006. She says that when she was told that she had a brain tumor, she felt like she was staring into a big black hole and about to jump into it. Actually, the doctors put the diagnosis of why she was having terrible headaches for 3 months in a more delicate way. Three days before her diagnosis, she was sitting in a doctor’s room holding her head.
She says that her head felt so heavy and the pain was terrible. After two days, she was sitting in a bed at the Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre in West Sussex writing her will. Snow had a trapdoor operation, on the left side of her head, and spent 3 weeks in the hospital. Towards the end of the stay, Snow was told that the biopsy of the brain tumor showed it to be a grade IV glioblastoma multiforme.
Snow was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2011. This was after finding a lump in her right breast just a month after a check-up. A few weeks into it, she felt absolutely exhausted. In February 2012, Snow went to see a breast surgeon. Snow had a hysteroscopy to remove a uterine lump, which thankfully turned out to be a polyp in January 2014.
