Marraco joined the University of Florida after she completed her high school education. While there, she started her TV career. During her junior year in college, she took a semester off and relocated to New York City where she worked as an intern before working at a 24-hour local cable station NY1 as a news assistant.
While at NY1, Marraco’s love for politics grew while she broadcasted the state senate coup in Albany. Thus, she decided to double major in Telecommunications and Political Science.
