Rotella attended Frederick Community College where she studied between 2004 and 2006. There, she obtained an Associate of Arts Degree in Arts and Sciences. Michelle’s goal is to make her viewers walk away knowing in mind what their day would be like. This is while learning a little something.
Coming from the Northeast, she loves the fact that they get to experience all four seasons and experiencing a wide variety of weather there. In addition to this, she stated that working for NBC 10 News would be her first opportunity to forecast exclusively for the Greater Philadelphia region. She is also looking forward to making Philadelphia her home and planting her roots in the area.
Prior to joining NBC 10 News, she was serving as a Senior Broadcast Meteorologist at AccuWeather located in State College, Pennsylvania. Previously, she was also working for FOX5 in Washington, D.C. still serving as a Meteorologist.
