Joy serves as the lap-by-lap voice of Fox Sports’ coverage of NASCAR. He has led the network’s news team since 2001 when FOX became a NASCAR broadcast partner for the first time. He has covered the majority of the big American motorsports for television and radio. Joy joined FOX in 2001 after anchoring CBS Sports’ coverage of the DAYTONA 500 from 1998 to 2000 after serving as a pit reporter for 15 years. Joy also called the “Great American Race” for Motor Racing Network (MRN) Radio from 1977 to 1983.
