Lynch was WCVB’s main weeknight sports anchor for 34 years, starting in September 1985, and a member of the sports team for 37 years, starting in March 1982.
He hosted “Patriots All Access,” a weekly sports program that provided a behind-the-scenes look at New England’s NFL franchise, from 1995 to 2008, and also served as a broadcast commentator during Patriots pre-season games. He’s also worked as a play-by-play announcer for the Boston Celtics, the New England Patriots, and college football. He hosted the Boston College football coach’s show “Eagles Preview” on Channel 5 for eleven years.
