She hosted a national network program that was televised from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, before moving back home to FOX 8. She taught voice and dance for twelve years at her family’s performing arts center in Alliance, Ohio. Stefani was inducted into the Hall of Fame of Broadcasters on September 14, 2008.
Stefani won the 1989 Ohio Governor’s Choice Award and was the 1989 Ohio Junior Miss / Ohio Young Woman of the Year. From 1979 to 1989, Stefani and her pal, Thommie, a recording artist in California, toured the world with the Bob Hope USO Troupe.
