Previously, he had spent about four years serving as an on-camera meteorologist for The Weather Channel Television located in Atlanta. In his time at the network, he was forecasting in the studio and also from the frontlines covering major weather events that include hurricanes Michael, Delta, Florence, and Laura. Additionally, he covered winter storms such as the ones in New England. This is in addition to reporting in the aftermath of countless tornadoes across the country.
